Another Award-Winning JoCo Library Program – YAAC Diversity Panel

Johnson County Library’s YAAC (Young Adult Advisory Council) Diversity Panel, led by Peggy Hendershot, Youth Services Librarian, was recently part of the YALSA Teen Top Ten Galley program. Publishers sent the YAAC groups at Johnson County Library (and 15 other book groups across the country) book galleys* that the kids would choose, read, and then review. The reviews were then sent to the publishers.
