Bonnie has been a patron, supporter, and volunteer of the Johnson County Library since moving to Kansas and immediately getting her library card. She, her husband Chris, and their 14-year old daughter Abi live in Prairie Village where Bonnie sits on the City Council as an elected official. Through her leadership positions on various professional, parent, and non-profit boards, Bonnie has worked intentionally to bring diverse people together for idea sharing, consensus building, and improvements to the organizations they serve together. She’s focused on inclusivity and transparency and encourages all members to bring their experience and expertise to the table to look for efficiencies and increased community engagement. She’s also always looking for something to read.
