Doris Royals

Doris Royals is a native of North Carolina, but was raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She has lived and worked in several states throughout the years, landing in Kansas in 2001.

Doris is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and has worked in the fields of scientific research and education. She serves on the boards of Gilda’s Club Kansas City, and the Johnson County Library Foundation where she held the office of Treasurer respectively.

She has volunteered and had leadership roles in many organizations such as Girl Scouts of America, Jack and Jill of America, Inc., Harvesters, Project UpLift Kansas City, Habitat for Humanity, ReStart Inc., American Red Cross, Ronald McDonald House, Women’s Foundation, and Literacy Volunteers of America. Also, she is a member of the Greater Kansas City Chapter of the Links, Inc.

Doris and her husband Robin are the proud parents of two adult daughters and one lovely granddaughter.
